The Presidium of the CIPS has sent a letter to the Russian Sport Fishing Federation and to the Belarusian Federation of Hunters and Fishermen concerning the temporarily forbidding to participate of their athletes in any CIPS/FIPS International Championships.
The ICSF Executive Board has temporarily banned the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in all ICSF international championships.
The ICSF thus also follows the recommendation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Das Präsidium der CIPS hat einen Brief an den Russischen Sportfischerverband und den Weißrussischen Jäger- und Fischerverband bezüglich des vorübergehenden Verbots der Teilnahme ihrer Athleten an internationalen CIPS/FIPS-Meisterschaften geschickt.
Das ICSF Executive Board hat die Teilnahme russischer und weißrussischer Athleten an allen internationalen ICSF Meisterschaften vorübergehend verboten.
Die ICSF folgt somit auch der Empfehlung des internationalen olympischen Komitees (IOC).
